The McDonald's All American® Basketball Games have helped raise more than $11 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC®) Chapters in the U.S. since the Games inception in 1978.
Over the past three years, the Chicago Games generated nearly $1.7 million in proceeds for Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC®-CNI).
The 2013 McDonald's All American® Games raised $458,000. Funds from the 2011, 2012 and 2013 McDonald’s All American Games helped build the nation’s largest Ronald McDonald House® in downtown Chicago and currently supports its operations. This Ronald McDonald House boasts 14 stories and 86 guest rooms, and will provide over 31,000 family nights, saving families more than $7 million in hotel costs.
RMHC is there for families when they need it most: right in their own communities. RMHC fulfills this mission through its global network of local chapters and three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House®, Ronald McDonald Family Room® and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®. Through these family-centered programs, RMHC provides stability and vital resources to nearly 6 million children and families around the world.
